First feature of 2012 is a Porcaro Club classic. "Driftin'", released by the Alessia Brothers in 1978 is where sunshine pop, soul and California boogie meet. Produced by Louie Shelton, engineered by Joseph Bogan at Dawnbreak Studio, San Fernando, California and drums courtesy of - who else - Jeff Porcaro. The album of the same name includes guest appearances by Seals & Crofts and Richie Havens.
